“Jinhe Jirm-e-Ishq Pe Naaz Tha/Woh Gunehgar Chaley Gaye” (Those who sacrificed themselves for the ‘crime’ of sanity and love have since been frustrated).

Both the above couplets aptly describe the present situation.
